History; Our Town; Makhanda

The city of Makhanda formerly known as Grahamstown. The history of this town cannot be fit into a paragraph, that would be an injustice to the rich history that the town has. From the likes of Colonel Graham, Makhanda KaNxele, the Frontier wars between the Xhosa and the British settlers, it would take me a day if not days to just give a brief illustration of this town's history. Ooh, I almost forgot it is in Makhanda where you will find the Princess Zila Lobengula Cultural Village 'Lobengula, a generation lost in a foreign land: the history of Fingo Village in Makhanda'.
